NPU Model UN Team Won Awards at 2014 NMUN

2014 National Model United Nations Conference was held on Apri 12th--17th, in New York.

NMUN is the largest, and one of the most prestigious, college Model United Nations programs in the world, hosting more than 5000 students from universities of all over the world. Northwestern Polytechnical University actively participated in NMUN since 2002 and got prizes each year. This year, NPU sent two team delegations for 2014NMUN. One is the team of 16 students representing Czekh Republic, and the other is a joint team of 7 students, with Benedictine University, America, representing Republic of Seychelles. Each team of students work very hard to win the Distinguished Delegation Awards after the four-day competitive public speeches and caucusing. Besides, 6 committees won the Outstanding Position Paper Awards.

All the awards proved NPU students' efforts in training the ability of research for the conference and also the ability of communicating in negotiating, compromising, and consensus building.
