In the afternoon of April 20, the President Wang Jinsong meets President Albert Gilmutdinov from Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev in the third conference room of the International Conference Center. The visit was President Albert Gilmutdinov’s second visit after renewing the cooperation agreement between the two universities in April 2016. First of all, Prof. Wang Jinsong gives a warm welcome speech on behalf of NPU to the visit of President Albert Gilmutdinov. He points out that since the two universities renewed the inter-school cooperation agreement in 2016, which had achieved fruitful cooperation in student training, teacher visiting, and scientific research. In 2016 and 2017, the two universities have successively held the Composites World Cup. It has greatly promoted the scientific research exchanges and personnel training of the two universities in the field of composite materials. Subsequently, Wang Jinsong introduces the new progress of the school's work in recent years to the guests, the construction of the school's "Double-First Class" and the planning of the Taicang Campus. He hopes that the two universities can establish closer cooperation relations in the future, increase the level of scientific research cooperation and expand cooperation content. He then sincerely invites President Albert Gilmutdinovto attend the 80thAnniversary Celebration of our university and Global Partnership Week held in October.
President Albert Gilmutdinov extended gratitude to Prof. Wang Jinsong’s invitation and expressed his recognition of the achievements made by our university in recent years. He looks forward to further advancing deep cooperation between two universities in student exchanges and exchanges of professors, and constantly looking for the cooperation, pushing the relationship between the two universities to a new level. He then introduces the Kazan National Research Technical University's German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies (GRIAT) cooperation program in detail and looks forward to receive more outstanding NPU graduates for further study.

Kazan National Research Technical University was founded in 1932 and was one of the earliest aeronautical institutes established during the Soviet Union. Kazan National Research Technical University is Russia's leading institution of higher education in aircraft-helicopter, engine manufacturing, instrument manufacturing, computer technology, radio and communications. In 2005, President Jiang Chengyu officially visited theKazan State University of Technology and signed a cooperation agreement between the two schools. In 2016, President Albert Gilmutdinov visited our school and renewed the cooperation agreement between the two universities.
