On March 29, the 2026 Central Asian Youth Spring Camp hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) concluded successfully. A total of 20 students and teachers from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan successfully completed the 9-day exchange program.
During the spring camp, all participants actively engaged in Chinese language and culture courses, immersing themselves in traditional Chinese culture. They visited historical sites such as the Xi’an City Wall and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, experiencing the millennia-old cultural heritage of the ancient capital. They explored the Qinling Four Rare Animals Science Park, gaining insight into the ecological philosophy of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. They also toured the NPU History Museum and the Aviation Museum to learn about NPU’s development and to appreciate the technological strength and innovative achievements of China’s aerospace sector. Through a series of enriching practical activities, the participants fully experienced the profound depth of Chinese civilization and the vibrant vitality of contemporary China.

This spring camp was not only a cultural encounter that spanned mountains and seas, but also a friendship bond connecting China with the world. In the future, the university will continue to deepen international cultural exchanges and educational cooperation, build platforms for mutual learning among Chinese and international youth, inject youthful energy into China-foreign friendship, and ensure that mutual learning among civilizations and international friendship are passed down from generation to generation.
