On the afternoon of March 31, 2026, the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 postgraduate students of the International College at NPU was grandly held at the Chang’an Campus. The event was attended by Li Ziwei, Associate Dean of the International College; Long Xu, supervisor representative from the School of Mechanics and Transportation Engineering; faculty representatives from various departments of the International College; alumni representative SAFA HUSSEIN MOHAMMED, a lecturer at Xi’an University of Finance and Economics; and all graduating students of the Class of 2026. The ceremony was hosted by Du Xiaojuan, postgraduate counselor of the Class of 2026.
The ceremony officially commenced with a heartfelt commemorative video, which revisited the graduates’ academic journeys and personal growth during their time at NPU. Their words reflected both a deep attachment to campus life and a hopeful outlook toward the future.

Supervisor representatives, Long Xu extended warm congratulations to the graduates on successfully completing their studies. He encouraged the graduates to stay true to their original aspirations, move forward with determination, apply their knowledge to serve society, and pursue their dreams with courage and resilience.

Alumni representative SAFA HUSSEIN MOHAMMED inspired the graduates by sharing her own experiences, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and dedication in academic pursuits. She encouraged the graduates to maintain their passion for knowledge and commitment to scholarship. Expressing her gratitude for the sense of security she experienced in China and the education she received at NPU, she also offered heartfelt advice: one does not need to be inherently strong—having a desire stronger than the urge to give up is enough to overcome even the darkest moments.

He acknowledged their outstanding achievements during their studies and expressed high expectations for their future development. He encouraged them to carry forward the university’s fine traditions, strive for excellence in their respective fields, and actively contribute to building bridges and strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation between their home countries and China.
