Northwestern Polytechnical University ranked first by total score at the 13th “Challenge Cup” Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group Shaanxi College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, retaining the provincial competition’s top honor.
The closing and award ceremony was held on June 7. NPU Vice-President Yue Xiaokui attended the ceremony, and the university’s High-performance Thermal Field Materials Innovators team presented its project as an outstanding entry.
NPU submitted 17 projects to the competition. After rounds of evaluation and final competition, the projects won 11 special prizes, five first prizes and one third prize.
The competition was jointly hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Education Working Committee of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, the Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology, the Shaanxi Students’ Federation, and the Shaanxi Xixian New Area Development and Construction Management Committee. It was organized by Xi’an University of Finance and Economics, with support from Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group.
This year’s competition received 1,170 entries from 90 universities across Shaanxi. After qualification review and online evaluation, 419 projects from 86 universities entered the final.
