Associate Professor Bai Dan, a young backbone teacher of NPU-FEIAP Belt and Road Engineering Education Training Centre (NFTC) based at NPU, speaks at an international webinar on September 12th, at the invitation of the hosts—Youth Talent Development Work Group and Standing Committee on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The webinar is moderated by Ir. Haudhi Ramdayusza, chairman of Forum Insinyur Muda, the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (FIM, PII). Engr. Narendra Singh, chairman of FEIAP Standing Committee on ICT gives a welcome speech. An audience of over 200 attends the webinar.
The webinar, themed “ICT: Trends and Technologies that aid Asia-Pacific countries during the Global Pandemic,” aims to analyze and predict the development trends of ICT in the future, through the discussion on the application of ICT during the global pandemic, so as to find solutions to make technologies serve the human society better.
“Technological development should always base itself on the demands of human,” says one participant, who adds that technological development should also focus on the integration of global technological strengths, coordination of international scientific resources and the building of an important platform for the world cultural communication. It is only by the deep participation of everyone in the communication and cooperation, and by their active contribution that efficient coordination and optimized deployment of international scientific resources can be achieved.
