From October 13 to 15, a total of 12 foreign scholars and experts from 10 countries gave a series of informative and lively speeches as scheduled in the online ZOOM conference room, along with more than 100 teachers and students participated in the discussion, looking to the development trends of software together. They not only introduced the latest and most cutting-edge scientific research findings to the students, but also patiently and passionately answered some questions raised by other teachers and students. The success of this conference showed us the unique charm of computer science and software engineering disciplines.
The Annual International Lecture Series of School of Software has been successfully held for 6 times so far. This year, the series of lectures with a focus on Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Smart City, and Software Engineering, not only discusses the latest study on computer science fields, but also provides a guide for students to choose their scientific research direction in the future.
These seminars have set up a valuable platform for teachers and students to communicate with frontier fields, which not only reflects our aim of cultivating high-level and innovative professionals with international vision and social responsibility, but also consolidates the foundation for our school to build an innovative research base and innovative talents in the field of software engineering.
