On the afternoon of April 26, QMES held a special seminar on the implementation measures of the task of the Action Plan for Cultivating First-class Undergraduate Talents of NPU(hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan) in the Conference Room 413, East Teaching Building A, Chang’an Campus. Dean Kong Jie, Vice Dean Fan Xiaoli and the staff of QMES attended this seminar.
At the beginning of the meeting, Fan Xiaoli first gathered the participants to study the Action Plan issued by the TeachingAffairs Department of NPU and conveyed the spirit of NPU’s talent training meeting to the participants. Then, Yang Ye, Director of the Teaching Affairs Office of QMES, made a detailed report on the completion of the Task Implementation Measures List of the Action Plan of QMES, and explained the ideas of each work one by one. Kong Jie reviewed the implementation measures and expected results of 7 aspects and 30 key tasks reported by the Teaching Affairs Office one by one, and put forward the direction and suggestions for revision.
In order to speed up the construction of first-class undergraduate education, build the first-class undergraduate talent training system, and comprehensively improve the quality of talent training, QMES has attached great importance to the Action Plan for Cultivating First-class Undergraduate Talents and arranged the Teaching Affairs Office of QMES to implement the task of the Action Plan in early April. After repeated discussions, each office of QMES worked together to finally form the implementation measures of the task of the Action Plan of QMES. Kong Jie hoped that QMES would take this opportunity to continuously deepen the reform of education and teaching in QMES, and at the same time to pay attention to student work and promote the all-round development of students. It is necessary to truly implement the Action Plan of QMES, making it serve the construction of the first-class undergraduate talent training system of QMES and help the connotative development of QMES.
