In order to create an atmosphere for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Culture Month, QMES held a series of activities of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Culture Month in November 2022 and held its opening ceremony of it on November 17, 2022.
Fan Xiaoli, Dean of QMES, Cheng Yin, Vice Dean of QMES, Huang Quanzhang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of QMES, Lin Xin, Professor of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of NPU, representatives of league cadres of QMES and undergraduates of the class of 2021 and 2022 attended the opening ceremony. The activity was presided over by Niu Jingyuan, a representative of undergraduate students of the class of 2021.
At the beginning of the activity, Niu Jingyuan introduced the agenda and overall arrangement of the opening ceremony of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Culture Month. Next, Xue Yuhe, a student of the class of 2020 of QMES, made a speech as an advanced individual representative of innovation and entrepreneurship. Later, Professor Lin Xin from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of NPU delivered a cutting-edge academic lecture entitled “Additive Manufacturing in the Era of Scientific and Technological Revolution”.
Finally, Fan Xiaoli made a concluding speech. She emphasized the importance of innovation, encouraged students to study professional courses carefully, go into the laboratory for practical operations on the basis of mastering solid professional theories, strengthen communication with mentors and classmates, dare to innovate and be good at innovation, which further stimulates students’ enthusiasm to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
