The first class of the day at Youyi Campus starts at 8:00 a.m.,
While at Chang'an Campus, the first class of the day starts at 8:30 a.m.
(Note that there may be slight variations in the schedule for Youyi Campus during summer and winter, so all the freshmen should take note!)
Transportation Guide
Here is a transportation guide for commuting between Chang'an Campus and Youyi Campus:
Multiple buses operate daily for commuting between the two campuses.
The bus timetable can be checked through the official WeChat public account of NPU.
To travel from Youyi Campus to Chang'an Campus by public transportation, you can follow the route as follows: Take Line 6 of the subway and get off at Xi'an International Medical Center. Then, transfer to the Gaoxin Tourism Line 1 or the 734 bus. Get off at the Xiaodongmen Station of NPU Chang'an Campus, and you will arrive at your destination.
Campus Facilities Guide
Library:
Students can enter the library at both Youyi Campus and Chang'an Campus by swiping their campus ID cards or using face recognition. The opening hours for both libraries are as follows: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 10:30 pm. The opening hours during legal holidays and winter/summer breaks will be announced separately.
The library at Chang'an Campus is spread across six floors.

The first floor of the library is a study room with various functions such as learning, sharing, and holding activities and meetings.
The sixth floor is divided into two parts: the Overview of Chinese Aviation History and the Research on Jiang Changying and Chinese Aviation History. It records the entrepreneurial journey of the predecessors who have strived for progress and innovation, setting an example for future aviation professionals.
The Smart Music Space provides readers with a multimedia space centered around high-quality lossless music appreciation, video viewing, intelligent piano playing, and learning and reading.
To meet the needs of readers for communication and discussions, the library also provides quiet and independent study rooms for all faculty and students.
The Aoxiang Space is located on the 5th floor of the East Library at Youyi Campus, providing a quiet and comfortable space for self-study and reading.
Teaching Buildings:
The teaching buildings at Chang'an Campus mainly include the East Teaching Building, West Teaching Building, Experimental Building, and various college buildings.
Experimental Building
Most undergraduate practical classes are held here, and these classrooms will witness the imprints of your growth step by step.
NPU History Museum:
The University History Museum is located on the south side of the second floor of the Qizhen Building at Chang'an Campus. It is one of the second batch of "Scientist Spirit Education Bases" in China and a patriotism education base in Shaanxi Province. The University History Museum showcases the glorious achievements of NPU in education for the salvation of the country, aviation for the country, and technology for a strong nation through various means such as graphic panels, physical models, and scene reproductions. It reflects the patriotism of NPU's staff and students.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Closed on weekends and public holidays (If you need to visit during the closing hours, please contact the staff of the University History Research Center at least 2 working days in advance).
Guided tour reservation process: If you need a guided tour, please make an online appointment 1-2 working days in advance. The appointment process is as follows:
(1) For faculty and students, you can make an online appointment through the recommended application in the Aoxiang Portal. The process is as follows: Aoxiang Portal - Recommended applications - Service Hall - Search for "University History Museum Reservation Mini Program" - Fill in the information - Submit the reservation application.
(2) For external visitors, please call 029-88430523 to make an appointment.
In addition, the guided tour robot "Xiaohang" is available to provide guided tour services. The robot is located at the entrance of the University History Museum. You can activate it by saying "Xiaohang, take me to visit the NPU History Museum" or "I want to visit."
Sports Guide:
Stay active and enjoy various sports venues, experiencing the satisfaction and joy that comes from working up a sweat.
At the Aoxiang Sports Center in Chang'an Campus, there are facilities such as basketball courts, badminton courts, and volleyball courts. Remember to make a reservation in advance.
The swimming pool in Chang'an Campus is primarily used for swimming lessons, but students can also enter with their swim cards during regular hours.
Chang'an Campus has two large playgrounds, Xingtianyuan and Yuntianyuan, as well as facilities for basketball, badminton, and tennis. In your leisure time, gather a few friends to the sports field and enjoy sweating it out together. It's also a great choice!

Chang'an Campus Dining Facilities:
Xingtianyuan South Dining Hall:
Located between Xingtianyuan Building A and Building B, this dining hall is conveniently close to the teaching buildings and the playground.
Star Garden North Dining Hall: Located on the west side of Building G in Star Garden.
Yun Tian Yuan Dining Hall: Located on the south side of Yun Tian Yuan dormitory area.
Hai Tian Yuan Dining Hall: Located in the Hai Tian Yuan campus area.
Youyi Campus Dining Facilities:
Most of the dining facilities at the Youyi Campus are located in the Aisheng Building. There are Student Dining Hall 1, Student Dining Hall 2, Flavor Snack City, Food Plaza, Happiness Kitchen, Gong Cheng Fast Food and more.
Dormitory Guide:
A comfortable dorm is the warmest shelter during your four years of university. Get a sneak peek into the dormitory facilities.
Chang'an Campus has three dormitory areas: Yun Tian Yuan, Star Garden, and Hai Tian Yuan.
The student dormitories at the Youyi Campus are located near the east gate of the school and are equipped with shops, hair salons, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and more.

NPU has hospitals on both the Chang'an and Friendship campuses.
