NPU's Fat-Loss Meal is Here!

Recently

China’s National Health Commission launched a three-year “Weight Management Year” campaign

In response to the national call to lose weight

NPU is taking active steps to support the initiative

We’ve launched a special health and fat-loss program

With scientific planning, healthy eating, and proper exercise

We aim to help everyone achieve a healthier body and enjoy a more energetic life

The Dining Service Center of the Logistics Group has launched fat-loss meals in campus canteens

These meals are scientifically balanced, nutritionally complete, and visually appealing

Designed to help students and staff healthily manage their weight and enjoy getting fit through delicious food



At the Youyi Campus, fat-loss meals are now available at: Gourmet Plaza, Staff Canteen, Zhenghe Hotel, Yunshang Nanshan

At the Chang’an Campus, you’ll find them at: Xingtianyuan Staff Canteen (3rd floor), Yuntianyuan Student Canteen No. 6 (2nd floor), Haitianyuan Canteen (2nd floor), Nanshanyuan Hotel

Losing Weight ≠ Starving Yourself

Our campus canteens use fresh vegetables and fruits

High-quality proteins, complex carbohydrates, and fiber-rich ingredients

Meals are prepared with less oil and salt

Using steaming and boiling methods to retain the natural flavor and maximize nutrition

Calorie intake is carefully controlled while keeping you full and satisfied

So you can enjoy delicious food while getting fit



Additionally

The dining areas offer free DIY condiments

Including sea salt & black pepper, vinaigrette, olive oil, and other flavorful dressings

Students can customize their veggie salads to suit different tastes

Making it easy to lose fat without going hungry



How much should you eat to lose weight?

According to the Nutrition Guideline for Adult Obesity (2024 Edition)

The recommended daily calorie intake is:

– Men: 1200–1500 kcal

– Women: 1000–1200 kcal

To support this, the canteen has set up a “Healthy Tips Corner” in the light meal area

Where you can learn about food calories and make smarter meal choices


Discipline doesn’t have to be painful—being full is a blessing

When it comes to fat loss and getting in shape, smart planning and professional guidance are the keys to success


Led by certified public nutritionist Ms. Guo Jia from the Logistics Group, and joined by experts from the campus hospital and professional fitness coaches, a dedicated health advisory team has been formed to support you every step of the way. From diet to exercise, they’ll tailor a personalized plan just for you—helping you race ahead on your fat-loss journey and become the “Fat-Loss MVP” on campus, with a healthy and fit body to show for it!
