The arrangements for the 2026 Qingming Festival holiday are hereby announced as follows:
1. Holiday Schedule: From April 4 (Saturday) to April 6 (Monday), 2026, totaling three days.
The holiday will run from April 4 (Saturday) to April 6 (Monday), 2026, totaling three days. Classes will be suspended during this period. Specific arrangements shall be subject to further notice from the Office of Teaching Affairs.
2. To facilitate faculty and staff in conducting tomb-sweeping activities during the Qingming Festival, the university will arrange transportation to Sanzhao Village , Fengqi Mountain, and the Xi’an Martyrs Cemetery. These arrangements will be organized by the Retired Staff Department of Party Committee. Faculty and staff who wish to take the arranged transportation are requested to board the buses before 8:00 a.m. on April 4 at the campus corner building (in front of ICBC). Buses will depart promptly at 8:00 a.m. and return collectively at 11:00 a.m. Elderly individuals and those in poor health who need to participate are advised to be accompanied by family members and to carry necessary emergency medications.
3. All departments are requested to ensure stability and safety during the holiday, including workplace safety, confidentiality, and emergency management. Responsible personnel must keep their mobile phones accessible 24 hours a day. In the event of emergencies, appropriate measures should be taken and reported in a timely manner.
