The 2026 International Summer Program is hosted by the City University of Macau (CityU). Designed as a multi-level learning platform beyond the traditional classroom, the program integrates three core dimensions: academic exploration, cultural experience, and professional development. It serves as an interactive bridge for learning and international exchange.

Program Overview
Dates: July 19–25, 2026
Eligibility: Currently enrolled undergraduate students at NPU
Program Fee: 6,500 HKD per student (special rate for NWPU students)
The Fee Covers:
Academic and professional courses, welcome dinner, unified airport transfer services, round-trip transportation for institutional visits, on-campus dormitory accommodation at CityU, program completion certificate issued by CityU
Note: Participants are responsible for their personal travel insurance, round-trip transportation to Macau, and other personal expenses.
Program Highlights
Led by senior professors and industry experts from CityU, the GSI Summer Program integrates hands-on workshops, corporate visits and exchange sessions,as well as project presentation and roadshows. These activities help students develop comprehensive skills and broaden their perspectives.
Participants will visit well-known local enterprises across sectors including hospitality, finance, and cultural creativity, enabling a deep integration of classroom theory with industry practice and offering a first-hand look at the vitality of Macau’s economic development.
The program also features immersive cultural activities centered on Macau’s World Heritage sites, taking participants into the core areas recognized by UNESCO World Heritage to experience Macau’s unique blend of Chinese and Western cultures heritage.
Face-to-face exchanges with local industry experts will help students to learn about market trends and industry developments. Participation in final project roadshows will further strengthen their presentation and communication skills, and take part in project roadshows to strengthen their presentation and communication skills.

Application Materials
Applicants are required to complete the registration by scanning the QR code provided by City University of Macau before 18:00 on May 30, 2026.
Concurrently, applicants should also complete the form in Appendix 1 and submit it by email to the Office of Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs at wangxinong09@nwpu.edu.cn.

Important Notes
1.After submitting the application, CityU will contact applicants to confirm enrollment and provide payment instructions.
2.CityU will issue a summer school confirmation letter to all enrolled participants between mid-June and 10 July.
3.NPU will provide financial support, on a discretionary basis, to undergraduate students who successfully complete the program in accordance with all requirements. Funding will be granted in accordance with the NPU Funding Management Measures for Undergraduate Students Participating in Overseas Exchange Programs. (As funding quotas are limited, if the number of applicants exceeds the limit, priority will be given to students from Year 1 to Year 3 who have not previously participated in the "Soaring Across Globe" program.)
