Summer is at its height as June draws to a close.
The 2025–2026 Summer Session is just around the corner — and the long-awaited summer vacation follows close behind.

Here is your freshly released:
The 2026 Summer Vacation Schedule and the 2026–2027 Academic Calendar
Time to start planning your summer and setting your goals for the new academic year!
Notice on the 2026 Summer Vacation Arrangements
I. Students
1. Vacation Period
From July 20 (Monday) to August 30 (Sunday), 2026. Classes for the new semester will begin on August 31 (Monday).
2. Enrollment for Incoming Students (Class of 2026)
Undergraduate freshmen are scheduled to enroll on August 22 (Saturday), at the Chang'an Campus. Postgraduate freshmen are scheduled to enroll on August 30 (Sunday), at both the Youyi Campus and the Chang'an Campus.
3. Return to Campus for Current Students
Undergraduate and postgraduate students currently enrolled should return to campus between August 29 (Saturday), and August 30 (Sunday).
4. Military Training
Incoming undergraduates of the Class of 2026 will undergo military training from August 24 (Monday) to September 6 (Sunday). Further details will be announced separately by Undergraduate Student Affairs Department of the NPU Committee of the CPC
II. Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff will observe a rotating vacation schedule from July 20 (Monday) to August 27 (Thursday) and resume work on August 28 (Friday). During this period, each unit should arrange for a portion of its mid-level administrators and staff to remain on duty, in accordance with its own operational needs, to ensure the normal continuation of all business functions.

Teaching: 41 Weeks
1.Fall Semester: August 31, 2026 – January 17, 2027 (20 weeks)
2.Spring Semester: February 22 – June 27, 2027 (18 weeks)
3.Summer Session: June 28 – July 18, 2027 (3 weeks)
Vacations: 11 Weeks
1.Winter Vacation: January 18 – February 21, 2027 (5 weeks)
2.Summer Vacation: July 19 – August 29, 2027 (6 weeks)
3.In-semester holidays follow the statutory public holiday schedule; any make-up class arrangements will be announced separately.
