Brief Introduction:
In order to promote the development of basic research and related applications of Fluid Mechanics in China, the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, the flagship Journal of Cambridge University Press and its sister Journal FLOWplan toheldJFM/FLOW 2022 China Symposium: From Basic to AppliedFluid MechanicsResearch will be held on June 11, 2022, in cooperation with the Institute of Extreme Mechanics of Northwestern Polytechnical University. Prof. Colm. P. Caufield of Cambridge University (Chief editor of the Journal of Fluid Mechanics) and Juan G. Santiagoof Stanford University(chief editor of FLOW journal), Prof. Zheng XiaojingofXidian University(Associate chief editor of FLOW journal), and Prof.XiHengdong from Institute of Extreme Mechanics, Northwestern Polytechnical University will be the co-chair of the symposium.
