Students in NPU can participate in a wide range of artistic activities.School has set up an Arts Education Center to provide specialized guidance for all those who are interested in and those who are skilled in arts. There are currently 5 full-time teachers in the Center, including 1 professor, 2 associate professors, and 2 lecturers. Besides, the Center has also invited many renowned artists to work as their part-time teachers. So far, the Center has already offered 16 courses for all the students in NPU.

There are varied students' teams, such as the Dance Troupe, the VJ Team, the Vocal Music Performance Team, the Symphony Orchestra, the Traditional Instruments Orchestra, the Electro Band, the Hip-Hop Troupe, and the Chorus etc., which offer abundant artistic performances to the teachers and students of NPU every year. In the meanwhile, the university and each school and college also regularly hold various evening parties like Welcoming New Arrival Party, The New Year Countdown Party, and Christmas Dance to enrich students' after class life. Furthermore, NPU also keeps in good contact with many performance teams and artists and invites them to give various performances, such as Peking opera, drama, musical drama, and concert etc. on a regular basis at NPU.
